Sisters
I love my sisters. They are both beautiful and loving! I know they will always love me despite my downfalls. I had a dream about them the other night which I think sums up a sisters relationship. I dreamt that we all went to jail together. I had not done anything wrong, but I had to go simply because I was their sister. It was so frustrating because I knew I was innocent, but I was willing to be there because they were. I am not sure what it all means, but obviously I am missing my sweet sisters. I love you Sherri and Deanna!

Megan Places at Academic UIL
Congratulations Megan! On Saturday, Megan competed in the Academic UIL Competition in Modern Oratory for her school, Hudson Bend Middle School. She made the finals and placed 4th. Megan's topic of research and presentation was "Do the cons of social networking outweigh the pros?" Do I see debating in her future??? Great job Megan, we are very proud of you!

BSF Today
I love Psalm 90. Moses wrote it when Aaron, his brother, died. It makes me realize how quickly time passes and when I am at the end of my journey, I hope that I look back with less regrets and more thanksgiving! What I got from this lesson was to live each day submitted to God and not in bondage to guilt! Thanks Moses for your ongoing lessons!!!
Grant Swims at TAGS
Grant swam at the Texas Age Group Championship Meet in Addison, Texas last weekend. He qualified in seven events and swam his little heart out. He improved his time by 2 - 3 seconds in almost everything he swam. He had a cheering section of family that he was very proud of. Thanks to everyone who came and watched Grant. We love and appreciate you more than you will ever know!!! Way to Go Grant!!!
Vacation in Hawaii
We had a great time in Kaui, Hawaii! We stayed in a house on the beach and it was fabulous! The weather was apparently better back home in Austin but we enjoyed the relaxing get-away anyway! We saw many roosters on the island. Apparently they have no predators and they roam the island as if they own it. Everyone felt relaxed and rested which was needed for the Thompson family! Thanks Mema and Papa for watching the baby - Sweetie the Dog! She enjoyed being spoiled!
